Please register here for the conference if you would like to attend.
The 9th Annual Davis Math Conference showcases the range of research in the Davis Mathematics Department, with the aim to strengthen intra- and inter-departmental connections in the dynamic UCD research community at all levels. Both professors and graduate students will present their cutting-edge mathematics in a series of 6 sessions organized by topic. These 6 sessions are:
Geometry and Topology
Partial Differential Equations
Mathematical Physics
Mathematical Biology
Algebra & Discrete Math
Optimization
Breakfast, lunch, and tea will be provided to facilitate further discussion. As mathematics is an ever-evolving and essential language, we encourage every Aggie mathematician and scientist to attend. First and second years in particular are encouraged to attend, as this conference is a great way to investigate future research areas.
A schedule and list of abstracts for the event is available here.
