The 6th Annual Davis Math Conference showcases the range of research in the Davis Mathematics Department, with the aim to strengthen intra- and inter-departmental connections in the dynamic UCD research community at all levels. Both professors and graduate students will present their cutting-edge mathematics in a series of 5 sessions organized by topic. The five sessions are:

9:30 AM - Geometry & Topology,

10:30 AM - Analysis & Partial Differential Equations,

1:15 PM - Physics & Mathematical Physics,

2:15 PM - Algebra & Discrete Math,

3:15 PM - Statistics, Probability, & Optimization.

Breakfast, lunch, and tea will be provided to facilitate further discussion. As mathematics is an ever-evolving and essential language, we encourage every Aggie mathematician and scientist to attend. First and second years in particular are encouraged to attend, as this conference is a great way to investigate future research areas.
